Warranty & Returns
Thruaxle.com warrants that its thru axles are free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
Thruaxle.com will repair or replace, at its discretion, a thru axle deemed by Thruaxle.com to be subject to this limited warranty. This limited warranty is not transferable and does not cover damage from accidents, crashes, neglect, corrosion, abuse, improper maintenance or modification, components (whether properly installed or not), use different from the thru axle's intended purpose, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and should be submitted to thruaxle.com.
This limited warranty does not cover counterfeit products, products which were not purchased new by the person submitting the limited warranty claim or products not purchased from thruaxle.com or an Authorized thruaxle.com Dealer. All claims under this limited warranty must be submitted during the limited warranty period, regardless of when they arose.
Shipping & Returns Policy
1. International Shipping & Customs Clearance
- Force Majeure Disclaimer: ThruAxle.com is not responsible for delivery delays caused by random customs inspections, local regulatory hold-ups, or other force majeure events within the destination country. These procedures are beyond the seller's control.
- Import Duties & Taxes: All applicable import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
2. Refused Shipments & Unclaimed Packages
- Refusal of Delivery: If a shipment is refused at the time of delivery or dropped off as "Refused" after receipt without prior authorization from ThruAxle.com, the customer shall be responsible for all original shipping fees, return freight charges, and any incurred customs duties.
- Return Logistics Costs: In the event of a refusal, these costs will be deducted from the final refund amount.
- Abandonment: If the cost of return freight exceeds the value of the merchandise, ThruAxle.com reserves the right to authorize the carrier to abandon or destroy the package. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
3. Return Process & Refund Conditions
- Authorized Returns: Customers wishing to return a product must contact our support team to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to our designated facility.
- Refund Processing: Refunds will only be authorized after the returned merchandise has undergone a technical inspection at our facility and is confirmed to be in its original, uninstalled condition.
4. Unverified Returns & Fraud Prevention
- Proof of Return Verification: If a package is officially marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, any claim of "Refused" or "Dropped off" by the customer must be substantiated by official return tracking data generated by the carrier. Without verifiable transit data confirming the physical return of the merchandise to our facility, the transaction is considered fulfilled, and no refund will be processed.
- Unjust Enrichment & Legal Action: Retaining the physical product while simultaneously forcing a refund via payment dispute (chargeback) or unverified return claims constitutes unjust enrichment and transaction fraud. ThruAxle.com reserves the right to submit all delivery evidence (including Proof of Delivery and carrier GPS data) to payment gateways and relevant authorities. We will take necessary legal action to recover the merchandise or its full monetary equivalent.
- Mutual Protection: These policies are established to strictly define the transfer of liability during international transit, ensure secure transactions, and protect the legal rights and interests of both the buyer and the seller.
